CHAD BROWN
President, Katz Radio
Chad Brown is President of Katz Radio. Chad has an extensive media sales background serving in various roles across the media industry on both the local and national level. As President of Katz Radio, Chad focuses on using Katz’s unparalleled national reach, industry insights and innovation to help national advertisers connect with local audiences at scale.
Prior to his appointment as President of Katz Radio in 2006, Chad worked for more than sixteen years at CBS Radio, most recently as Vice President and General Manager of WCBS-FM. During his tenure at CBS, Chad served as Director of Sales overseeing CBS’s six-station New York cluster; and General Sales Manager at WCBS-AM, one of the largest billing stations in the country. Chad also oversaw Yankee’s baseball play-by-play sales.
Prior to his role at WCBS, Chad served as Regional Vice President for the former CBS owned-and-operated national representation firm managing various regions, including New York, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia and Atlanta.
Chad has held board positions at NYMRAD, the New York Market Radio marketing association, and at the Nielsen Advisory Council where he served as Chairman.
